NEWS: Engineering Scholarship

The Polyoak Foundation is proud to launch our first Engineering Scholarship this year.

The Polyoak Foundation Engineering Scholarship hopes to support the national efforts of reducing the skills shortage in our technical fields.

The Scholarship will fund the following courses: 
a degree in Mechanical Engineering

or a degree in Mechatronics.

​

The Scholarship will be awarded to successful applicants who are in their second year of studies in either of the above-mentioned courses. 

​

The first students to be successfully awarded this scholarship are Thabiso Maselela and Masixole Ntshangase (pictured).

The two young men were required to attend two panel interviews with Polyoak HR staff and Engineers, as well as complete psychometric tests to ensure they meet the requirements of the scholarship.

We welcome Thabiso and Masixole to the Polyoak Foundation Family.
