We're all about mindset, not just marks.

What is the Polyoak Family Educational Foundation?

In 2009 Polyoak shareholders donated 10% of share ownership and future dividend income to educate the children of Polyoak Packaging Group employees and our broader community – giving them the opportunity to fulfil their dreams and establish themselves within their chosen careers.

Unlike other bursaries, the PFEF bursary is not for a specific industry or academic level. Bursaries are for matriculants who have the desire and determination to study further, offering life-changing opportunities to young people who might be otherwise overlooked.

What we've achieved so far:

102

What to expect in the PFEF journey - a holistic approach to education

Our goal is to empower the children of Polyoak employees through high-quality education. But there's more to student growth and development than what happens in the classroom and that's where the Polyoak Foundation steps in.

Welcoming and networking

From day one we actively encourage and create space for students to find a professional community of peers and supporters that understand their ambitions.

Also check out our Student Survival Handbook.

Kickstart work readiness programme

Popular with students, our workshops have been developed to have an immediate impact, with work readiness and graduate development programmes for each student year.

Student enrichment

Our holistic support includes personal development programmes that encourage students to grow inside and outside the classroom, which in turn allows them to broaden their horizons.

Graduating as valued members of the Polyoak family

Graduation ceremonies, attended by senior PPG managers, are held to recognise the learners' achievements.

However, it is only through the parents' hard work that the learner can apply for funding, so the ceremony also honours the parents.
